Abstract

One of the most important things for most of the people is religion. The impact of religion in many aspects of life is obvious. Mass media have very crucial role in shaping public opinion. We can see expanding of technology and emerging new mass media change the form of media and consequently affect people life style. For instance , these kind of changes affected our life style , recreation, entertainment, travel, shopping as well as help us to know how people pray or worship.  This article is trying to investigate how internet users use internet for their religious issues. The object of this article is knowing how internet users use internet for their religious issues and what is their motivation in this case . Method which is used in this article is ‏survey research method, ‎ including 700 student of Management School of Urmia University.  230 students were chosen by using the random sampling method. About 250 questionnaires were provided and 242 of them were collected. At the end 230 0f questionnaires were acceptable for analyzing.
In this case the 37/8 percent of students use internet for 8 hour and this is the longest time. 34/3 percent of users utilize education and interpretation of the Quran in the Net.
Religious content usage of internet in no holydays is 51/7 percent. The religious content of internet is affected users beliefs about 69/1 percent. Religious knowledge of users is raised by religious content of internet and it is about 67 percent.
