The present study aims to investigate how local celebrities frame and narrate the war, and focuses on a case study of Mohsen Chavoshi's activism on Instagram. The main issue is how Chavoshi, as a celebrity-social activist, uses the social media capacity of Instagram for activism in the midst of the war and what semantic frameworks he constructs. The theoretical framework of the study is based on the concepts of activism, celebrity, representation, and framing. The research method is a case study using multifaceted thematic analysis that was conducted on Chavoshi's Instagram posts during the 12-day and Ramadan Wars. The findings, based on Entman's four-factor framing model, show that Mohsen Chavoshi formulated the current issue during the war as "a full-scale war of the enemy against the homeland" and, regarding the causes, represents "the evil nature of foreign enemies along with the sick mentality of domestic traitors" as the causes of the war. In terms of moral evaluation, it should be said that Chavoshi celebrates divine and patriotic virtues and negates and rejects demonic and treacherous vices, and ultimately Chavoshi's "solution" for overcoming this war can be formulated in the proposition of "active, all-round and endogenous perseverance." In addition to playing the role of a "benevolent activist" which is usually part of the role-playing of celebrities in social crises, Mohsen Chavoshi also plays a role as a "narrative-making agent" in giving meaning and identity to the 12-day and Ramadan Wars.
