Political theology, as an interdisciplinary science that emerged from the interaction between traditional and modern theology, political developments, and political science, has a special place in the thought of Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli. This article focuses on the aspect of "sociality" that deals with the relationship between doctrinal teachings and the individual, society, politics, law, justice, security, tolerance, and political development. (Background) The aim is to analyze Javadi-Amoli's views using Quentin Skinner's intentional hermeneutic method, which emphasizes discovering the author's intention through subjective (fundamentals of belief, transcendental wisdom, Quranic interpretation), objective (Iran's socio-political developments), conventional theological norms, and intellectual practices. (Background) The analytical-hermeneutic approach is based on Skinner's four stages: objective (Javadi-Amoli's life and political actions from Amol to Qom and the Islamic Revolution), subjective (transcendental wisdom, revelation-based rationality, comprehensive understanding, confrontation with competing currents such as humanism and liberalism), conventional norms (duals such as individual/society authenticity, integration/separation of religion and politics), and Acquisitions (modernization of norms such as emphasizing the dual authenticity of the individual and society, integrating religion and politics, and justice as an existential balance). (Method) Javadi-Amoli's political theology of communalism is problem-oriented, comprehensive, and coherent; he sees society as an organic monotheistic entity in which politics, law, and development are in line with divine guidance and human dignity. His acquisitions include the rejection of liberal individualism, the emphasis on the guardianship of the jurist as an extension of the Imamate, and the reconstruction of norms for the contemporary world. Compared to competitors (such as Shabestari), his approach is considered up-to-date and efficient. (Findings) This view considers Islamic society as an epistemological-moral institution whose goal is to educate, guide, and realize justice. (Conclusion)
