Abstract
The present study, using the institutional mapping approach, has examined the important actors of cultural drivers before the entry of virtual social networks into Iranian society. Therefore, the main goal of this study is to map the institutions active in the functions of cultural drivers before the entry of virtual social networks in Iran. The importance of this issue stems from the fact that the field of cultural drivers has a high number and diversity of actors and functions, and an attempt to study them can help to better understand the structural and functional complexities of this field. This study, using the mapping method, examined the institutions existing in the cultural drivers of Iranian society before the entry of virtual social networks according to cultural functions and analyzed the actors based on the stakeholder analysis model. The mapping of active institutions of cultural drivers was drawn based on the goals of cultural functions through interviews with 15 experts and specialists in the field of culture through purposive sampling until theoretical saturation with a questionnaire at the levels of governing institutions (supra-branch, executive branch). As a result, the main actors were analyzed based on the analytical model of stakeholder mapping, and finally the findings showed that the promotion of the spirit of chivalry, the promotion of the culture of sacrifice, jihad and martyrdom, and indecent behavior by the media had the highest level of direct and indirect intervention of all actors, and the two institutions of the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation and the seminaries had the greatest impact on the formation of cultural drivers.
