This study was conducted to identify the factors of attractiveness of virtual media in the field of news using grounded theory method. The statistical population is theoretically selected and includes journalists, university professors and experts in the field of news. The tools for collecting information, interviewing and conducting interviews are coding and summarizing, and the method of data analysis is done by coding and categorizing categories and themes, and then the statements obtained from the interviews. They are classified into three stages: open coding, selective coding, and axial coding. Finally, by examining the causal conditions, contextual conditions, intervening conditions, strategies and consequences,The main category of the research, namely, "Components of the attractiveness of virtual news media" was identified. The results of data analysis indicate that in causal terms: "components of news website attractiveness", "media quality improvement", and "cyberspace", in the intervening factors: "ideological contradictions", " "Media partisanship", "Lack of globalization", "Inefficient site management", "Technical and technical weakness of the site", "False and contradictory news", "Poor and inappropriate content", "Lack of updating" and "Organizational problems" In the context of: "educational variables", "cyberspace variables", "management variables" and "international variables", and in terms of strategies: "Management Strategies", "Practical ", "International ", "Preventive " and "Infrastructure " were the most common and important. . It was also confirmed that the quality of content and content of the news site takes precedence over other factors, including visual appeal.
