Rowzə-xānī is one of the common types of Iranian religious show storytelling (narration) which has advertising function and has been comprehensive over time and converted into religious tradition so that many public and private Rowzə-xānī had been held in cities and villages of Iran besides other mourning rituals of Moharram and Safar months. Holding these sessions as well as attending these session is spontaneous and is welcomed by the Shiites due to interest of Shiite in their imams and recollection of their sufferings in the way of their religion and traditions. For this reason, the Shiites consider attendance in these sessions and listening to preachment of the narrator as an action pleasing to God. Preachment requires more attention and deeper recognition as comprehensive phenomenon which has life of many centuries. This article is an opportunity for dealing with the most common variety of religious narration in Iran i.e. Rowzə-xānī.

Qajar dynasty, particularly in Naseri period (i.e. Naser al-Din Shah reign), came to this understanding that they could employ cultural policies to a direct influence on people’s lives, by which established a new kind of kingly power over people. For execute such an aim, journals were one of powerful sources. Using a descriptive-analytical approach in this paper, reflections, and impressions of cultural policies in journals during Naseri period has been discussed. Studying journals publishing chronologically indicates that, like many other fundamental changes in Qajar reign, is a consequence of occurrence of Iran-Russia wars and perceiving the necessity of reforms. Professional modern journalism, as far as documents illustrate, appeared by the supports of Abbas Mirza, the then crown prince, and became more professional during Amir Kabir’s chancellery. While Iranian journalism developed more than before in Mirza Hossein Khan Sepahsalar period, Nasir al-Din Shah’s unwelcomed inferences with journalistic affairs, under cover of cultural policies, had been continued. Based on a few documents, it has been explained that how legal control of press, including censure plans, which was an example of implemented cultural policies of Naseri period on journals and prints, made journalism in exile? Mirroring, and even adopting, such policies in following movements and revolutions could be seen as a sequence of that period.

One of man’s engagements has always been social communication for which he has sought to find various means such as old inscriptions on the walls of caves and the more modern graffiti. As a form of communication, bumper stickers reflect mindsets, emotions, and socio-cultural views of people. The reflection of deep socio-cultural issues through bumper stickers has unfortunately been underestimated in linguistic research. The current study aimed to analyze bumper stickers as an effective tool for the expression of socio-cultural ideas and meanings. 2312 bumper stickers were collected randomly over a long period of time. They were content analyzed and categorized into 15 categories. They were also described in terms of Hymes’ ethnography of communication. The results of the analyses revealed that religious and inspirational bumper stickers were the most frequent and the political and critical ones were the least frequent. Statistically significant differences were found between these categories of bumper stickers. The studies also showed how bumper stickers convey significant meanings through their setting, participant, end, act, key, instrumentality, norms, and genres.

Encoding and decoding are among the key processes of cultural and social communications. This article has tried to clarify the concepts of quadruple semiotic codes for visual communications proposed by Arthur Asa Berger; and to pursue these codes in the paintings of René Magritte, the well-known Belgian Surrealist artist. Four types of communicational codes as identified by Berger are: Metonymic, Analogic, Displaced and Condensed. Magritte has an idiosyncratic approach to Surrealism. He spent many years working as a commercial designer, and this most likely shaped his fine art, which often has abbreviated impact. His works have a powerful paradox: beauty, clarity and simplicity, against a cryptic provoking and shocking effect. As the result of this research, we may find traces of metonymic code in Magritte’s “The red model” (1935), analogic code in “The false mirror” (1929), displaced code in “The son of man” (1964), and condensed code in “The revealing of the present” (1936).

The competition in the present world requires using all techniques, tools, and new pure ideas. In the second half of twentieth century, industrial producers of the world faced a new competitive environment which, using half of the capital and facilities required, offered products with better quality, more variety, and lower cost to the world market. One of these new techniques is called lean production. Lean production is in fact a systematic approach which attempts to remove the wastes and eliminate any extra process from the stage of preparing raw materials to production and sale. The present study, considering the production stages of a movie and comparing it with what happens in an industrial production line, intends to identify and discover wastes in the production stages of a movie. Analysis of the results through grounded theory methodology led to development of fifteen concepts and accordingly five main categories. These categories include three types of time waste, repetition, lack of coordination, and two infrastructural and cultural factors in the process of movie production

Considering the salient role of vocabularies in reflecting the cultural beliefs of a given society, the present study aims at examining the discursive functions of “death” and the related terms in the Persian language corpus, using Hymes's (1967) SPEAKING model. The reason we have chosen such concept is that not only can it vividly illustrate the existing cultural beliefs of a society, but also it can be examined from social and linguistic points of view. To this end, 673 contexts in which the death-related discourses have been used were recorded, and after analyzing the data based on the SPEAKING model, the social aspects of the discursive functions were extracted. The results revealed that the intention behind using death and its related terms among Persian speakers of Iran is rooted in the prevalence of morbid thoughts, death-seeking, necrolatry, love of sadness, and cherophobia.

Honorable zeal is one of the social-cultural components of different societies, including Iranian society. In recent decades, with the expansion of feminist ideas, this issue has been critically analyzed, and its overflow can be seen in the art of cinema. The present research has been carried out with the aim of investigating the representation of honorable zeal in the Iranian cinema of the 1390s, using Fairclough's discourse analysis method. This method includes three stages of description, interpretation and explanation, during which the formal features of the text are examined in the description stage, the interdiscourses in the interpretation stage, and the influence of macro-social structures in the explanation stage. For this purpose, 3 films "Daughter's House", "Father's House" and "Parvaneh's Swimming" were selected and analyzed from the series of films released in the 1390s with a purposeful sampling method. The results indicate that in the light of the effects of the process of globalization on Iranian cinema, the development of feminist literature, the cultural policies of international film festivals, the development of the urban middle class in Iran and the cultural policies of the government of moderation, the issue of honor zeal in the cinema of Iran in the 1390s has been represented as an irrational phenomenon with absolutely harmful consequences and The creator of the authoritarian relationship between men and women.

Gathering together, the factors are the main generator of poverty. Today, resource limitations and increasing expectations makes it difficult to do proper actions. In Islam, the logic of religious taxes, specially the obligatory ones, which are legislated by religious law and are religious main obligations after prayer, is subject to the repair the gap between poor and wealthy class.
Unfortunately, our society not only is failed in the repair, but also the gap is increasingly got deeper and bigger. The only way to combat the crises is to utilize the existing local opportunities of different aspects of society (precise distribution of income).
Religious taxes are one of the helpful resources that can provide significant financial supply to repair the gap between social classes and to remove poverty.

The pupouse of study is to identify the problems of holding “the Book of the Year award” in order to improve policies, procedure, improve the judging process and make it more effective in the publishing community. The research is qualitative in terms of approach and case study in terms of execution method. The studied community is the writings related to the Book of the Year award, university professors, experts and beneficiaries involved in the organization and performance of the festival, and critics and experts in the field of the book of the year, where the expert sampling technique was used to select the sample. Writing review, interview and focus group were used to collect data. Qualitative data analysis has been done in two stages; the first round of coding and the second round of pattern finding. In the first round of coding, we tried to give each piece of data a label (or the same code); in the second round, models were extracted from these codes. To advance the coding process, various tools have been used, including performing the process with pencil and paper to the use of MaxQDA (version 11) computer programs. The results show that the issues and problems of the yearbook can be categorized in the areas of policy and planning, executive processes, and referees. The overlapping of the Book of the Year award with other awards and the lack of clarity about its position compared to other awards has caused the Book of the Year to decline in prestige. The excessive dependence of the award on the government body, both in terms of expenses and in terms of policy, the selection of the scientific secretary, referee, etc. has caused us to witness the interference of cultural officials in the votes and opinions of the judges, as well as the introduction of the chosen ones, in limited periods. Trust in festivals and awards is the most important event that can be effective in their growth and influence, and in addition to the favor of the people and those in charge of the awards, it will be effective in promoting the publishing industry, and the officials of the Book of the Year institution should have more appropriate planning and investment in this regard.
