This quantitative research examines the relationship between modern satellite media and the role of mediating national, religious and security related variables. The statistical population of this research is the students of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman. The sample size was 380 people. According to the stratified nature of the statistical society, samples were selected using stratified sampling method. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Validity and validity were obtained by Cronbach's alpha and formal validity. Also, for testing the reliability of the research model, Amos software was used. Analysis of the findings shows that national and religious identity can play a role of mediation between media and security. What is noteworthy is that modern media has a positive impact on security, but once religious and national identity are mediated, the impact of media on negative security. This relationship shows the negative influence of satellite media on national identity, which has a negative impact on security.
